After founding, building, and eventually selling OutKick, Clay Travis recently launched his new venture, Sport & State. In his column welcoming readers to Sport & State, Travis explained, “My vision for this site is 70% sports, 15% pop culture, and 15% where politics intersects with sports.”
On Sunday night, Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports reported that the Bet The Board podcast, hosted by Todd Fuhrman and Payne Insider, is coming to Sport & State. Travis confirmed the news.
The last episode of Bet The Board was on June 30, 2025.

As Glasspiegel notes, Fuhrman and Travis worked together on the FS1 betting show that originally was known as Lock It In and eventually was known as Fox Bet Live.
Bet The Board has been a popular podcast with a focus on the NFL, college football, and basketball with a sports betting angle. The podcast’s X account teased on Saturday night that there would be news soon, in its first post since the show’s last podcast.

Fuhrman is a former oddsmaker, and Payne (who keeps his real last name private) is a professional sports bettor, so they’re experts in the gambling industry.
Travis added in his opening column with Sport & State, “Most of the politics will come from me. These other shows aren’t designed to be political.”
In addition to now featuring the Bet The Board podcast, Sports & State has the following lineup streaming Monday through Friday: Chad Withrow and Jonathan Hutton from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Lance Taylor, Ryan Brown, and Jim Dunaway hosting Next Round Live from 10 a.m. to noon; Travis and Buck Sexton hosting Clay & Buck from noon to 3 p.m.; The Clay Travis Show from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.; Kelly Stewart, Ariel Epstein, and Joe Raineri hosting a gambling show from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
