Paul Bissonnette shot Screengrab via TNT

You never know quite what you’re going to get from Paul Bissonnette whenever he’s on television. And that includes the possibility of a repair bill.

The NHL on TNT analyst has quickly established himself as one of the most colorful personalities in sports television as the answer to his TNT counterpart Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA. And like their colleagues that cover basketball, the TNT hockey crew isn’t afraid to have some fun and enter into some physical comedy.

On Wednesday night’s show, that included Paul Bissonnette trying to show off his skills in trying to score on an empty net with a goalie’s stick. While you may think that should be a piece of cake for someone who made it to the NHL… it most definitely was not.

Unfortunately for Biz, and the Warner Bros. Discovery finance and maintenance departments, he lifted his shot high and wide, breaking a part of the set background as his co-hosts laughed in delight.

Sure, he wasn’t using a natural hockey stick, but Biz showed why he wasn’t exactly remembered for his shooting prowess back in the day. Across six seasons in the NHL, Paul Bissonnette scored a grand total of seven goals. He did rack up 340 penalty minutes though!

Hopefully that demolished panel won’t take too much out of his TNT paycheck. But compared to all of the hijinks that Inside the NBA has put forth including broken video boards, Biz probably has a ways to go to reach their repair bills.
