2024 NFL Schedule Release videos. Via @Titans on X.

The NFL schedule release has taken on a life of its own in recent years as somehow the league has taken the ordering of games on a calendar and turned it into a cultural event. While the week has been filled with various coordinated announcements and small tastes of what games will be played when and where, Wednesday night represented the full unveiling of the 2024 schedule.

And when it comes to the NFL schedule release, it’s become like Super Bowl Sunday for each team’s social media department as all 32 organizations compete for the best, funniest, and most original way to release their team’s slate of 17 games. All of them were released precisely at 8 PM ET in unison.

This year is no exception as it’s filled with celebrity cameos, detailed scripts, and surprise returns. For your enjoyment, here’s each team’s schedule release video so you can check them all out in one place.

AFC East

Buffalo Bills

Quarterback Josh Allen is the star of the Bills schedule release, while working (and living?) at the construction site of their brand new $1.7 billion stadium.

Miami Dolphins

https://twitter.com/MiamiDolphins/status/1790895083849465963

The Dolphins went with a 22 second video highlighting themselves as the league’s “fastest team,” and a quick scroll on a computer screen. Cute, but perhaps a little too cute.

New England Patriots

The Patriots went with a movie trailer style schedule intro dubbed “Good Jules Hunting” and a cast including Patriots legends like Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, coach Jerod Mayo, and even a cameo from owner Robert Kraft.

New York Jets

The Jets schedule release video… really has nothing to do with the schedule at all? It’s a contest in Central Park giving free roundtrip tickets to a Jets game involving a slice of New York style pizza, throwing a football at a target, and dumping Gatorade on yourself.

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens

Head Coach John Harbaugh gives Ronnie (aka comedian Stavvy Halkias the 2024 schedule, the company credit card and orders him straight to the airport to deliver the news. Ronnie gets sidetracked, using the credit card for a tattoo, swag, grillz, Ravens merchandise and more. Warning: the view of the Ravens’ Week One matchup with Kansas City tattooed into Ronnie’s naked backside is an image you can’t unsee.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals video ran on the short side compared to other teams’ schedule release (except the Dolphins of course). It featured a round of mascot football decimating each opponent in front of them. If only it were that easy in the regular season.

Cleveland Browns

We didn’t see this one coming, a bowling-themed schedule release covering the adventures of “Dawg Pound Bowling,” complete with 1970s-style electronic music. There’s a bowling pin with the Jaguars logo, a beer bottle with the Raiders logo, etc. The best moment: All the players stop in their tracks as an unidentified man walks in the bowling alley, revealed to be bowling legend Pete Weber, who says, “Game time.” An A+ for creativity.

Pittsburgh Steelers

https://twitter.com/steelers/status/1790894939372757333

Pittsburgh players were given a challenge — make Steelers legend James Harrison laugh, and they could see the schedule early. The “dad jokes” were terrible, and Harrison sat stone faced. After safety DeShon Elliott whiffed on a question, he said, “Can you all get me some better questions — this man is scaring the hell out of me.”

AFC South

Houston Texans

https://twitter.com/HoustonTexans/status/1790895658435572135

A unique and cheekily funny video. Truly taking ‘crushing the competition’ to another level.

Indianapolis Colts

https://twitter.com/Colts/status/1790896558864474616

A more lighthearted approach to the release, featuring Colts players and schoolchildren from Snacks Crossing Elementary School. Definitely hit the right notes

Jacksonville Jaguars

https://twitter.com/Jaguars/status/1790896080793616492

A rather topical take on the release, paying homage to X-Men. The creative effort here was very strong.

Tennessee Titans

https://twitter.com/Titans/status/1790895107803058656

Everyone loves a surprise return from a beloved recurring character. The Titans bringing Red Stallions Girl back to ask people to help after last year’s shenanigans is incredible continuity.

AFC West

Denver Broncos

https://twitter.com/Broncos/status/1790894971182100767

Lewis Hamilton tasting foods to represent all 17 of Denver’s opponents. With most teams opting for a cinematic or comic book approach, there’s definite points for originality here.

Kansas City Chiefs

Crushing the competition is a theme this year. Who did it better, the Texans or Chiefs? Given that the Chiefs are invoking being the reigning Super Bowl champs, our vote has to go there.

Las Vegas Raiders

One of the more old school ones. The gritty approach might have been a little more appropriate for the Raiders when they were back in Oakland. Nevertheless, it’s a straightforward video that let’s you know what the team is all about.

Los Angeles Chargers

The caption says it all. It’s all about The Sims. A creative way to head into a new and hopefully (at least for the sake of the Chargers and their fans) more successful era.

NFC East

Dallas Cowboys

https://twitter.com/dallascowboys/status/1790895668699005398

Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys have the most star-studded schedule release video centered on a collection of team figures Facetiming various celebrities and former athletes associated with various teams. The list ranges from Eli Manning (Giants) and Calvin Johnson (Lions) to Jake Paul (Browns) with other cameos from Post Malone, Kelly Clarkson, Ninja, and even PFT Commenter.

New York Giants

The Giants took the “person on the street” angle with someone walking through the city asking if they knew about the NFL’s schedule release videos, ending with the consensus being that it should just be a graphic. The Giants then tweeted a graphic of the schedule separately. It’s “this could have been an e-mail” come to life.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles video played into the trademark insane passion of the team’s fanbase with various superfans ripping on each team on the schedule under the care of a psychiatrist at Eagles HQ.

Washington Commanders

https://twitter.com/Commanders/status/1790894936029839601

Intro’d by wide receiver Terry McLaurin, the Commanders schedule plays on the theme of “Is it Cake?” which in case you aren’t familiar is an actual show on Netflix.

NFC North

Chicago Bears

The Bears schedule video went with a “back to School” theme, showing players strolling the school hallway, pulling pranks in class, sitting in detention and more. Considering all the high profile young players (Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze, etc.) joining the team, it was a totally appropriate theme.

Detroit Lions

The Lions hired a couple of advertising guys straight from football fan central casting, in a video aiming to recapture the magic of the Tennessee Titans’ viral video in 2023. There’s a couple of funny moments, some salty language, but they wait until the very end for what the fans really wanted — a look at the schedule.

Green Bay Packers

The Packers brought in a host of celebrities appearing on a VCR demo tape (?) of auditions for a Packers pep rally. Jordan Love, Jaire Alexander and Preston Smith watch as rapper and Packers fans Lil Wayne, actor Cary Elwes, Joe Buck and others pitch their case. A couple of clowns show up, and there’s even a cameo by one-year Packers wonder quarterback Don Majkowski.

Minnesota Vikings

Tight end T.J. Hockenson hosted a bizarre video that looked part history documentation, Apple product drop and football highlight video. Kudos for the great production value.

NFC South

Atlanta Falcons

An homage to NFL Street, the Falcons earn huge nostalgia points from me. Also – the stiff-armed Cowboys fan going ‘Go Lakers!’ made me laugh hysterically.

Carolina Panthers

Pretty humorous take on the schedule releases, doing it paired with paintings the players made of each other. Points for creativity.

New Orleans Saints

https://twitter.com/Saints/status/1790894936562573354

Humorous attempt at the release video, featuring cameos from several New Orleans notables. The Falcons fan getting shut down right away was hysterical.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

https://twitter.com/Buccaneers/status/1790894940307821030

A neat little video to hype up the schedule release, but a very procedural one perhaps. Absent some flair others had included,

NFC West

Arizona Cardinals

While other teams went with a creative video or photo/drawing approach, the Cardinals were as tame as possible. Little in terms of creativity points but there’s always something nice about a classic.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams went full Los Angeles with this one — and why wouldn’t they? A nice chase through the streets should set the mood for the forthcoming season.

San Francisco 49ers

https://twitter.com/49ers/status/1790895284756832346

The reigning NFC champs went with drawings of each opponent. The most creative of the bunch was the Week 7 matchup vs. the Chiefs, depicting George Kittle and Travis Kelce in a boxing match (one that has not gone well for the 49ers) and Week 13, with Kittle jumping through a table for the game in Buffalo.

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle went with a comic book approach. And it wasn’t a video but a thread of drawings. Week 1 against the Broncos is below and all subsequent matchups can be found in the thread.
