Following his latest concussion, NFL commentators are wondering what kind of future Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has — or should have — in the NFL.
With his Dolphins trailing 31-10 to the Buffalo Bills and facing a fourth-and-four late in the third quarter, Tagovailoa scrambled for a first down. While he got the first down, Tagovailoa was hurt on the play after being tackled by Damar Hamlin.

Not long after the play, sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung shared that Tagovailoa had been ruled out. She added that the Dolphins quickly diagnosed the concussion, saying “They were able to determine that just 6 minutes after he left the field.”
Kaylee Hartung: Tua Tagovailoa will not return to this game. He has been ruled out with a concussion. They were able to determine that just 6 minutes after he left the field.

Given his history of concussions and the increased awareness of concussions — particularly how harmful multiple concussions can be — NFL commentators speculated on what Tagovailoa in the sport should be.
Part of the discussion is going to be about if he should play anymore. Ever again. That’s the reality. That makes me feel sick. But it’s part of the discussion now. Just want the man to be safe and healthy. Damn.

Really hope Tua is ok, but he’s gotta seriously think about shutting it dwn. I H8 saying this. His concussions are getting worse and worse and he’s a young man with his entire life ahead of him. #BillsFins #ThursdayNightFootball.

It’s time we have an Uncomfortable Conversation about Tua Tagovailoa..
The helmet protects the skull from fracture, it does not protect the brain from injury. 💔💔#FinsUp @MiamiDolphins pic.twitter.com/7UZ5IYXpw4

Don’t think I’d ever play again if I were Tua.
He’s got some tough decisions coming up.

Really just praying for Tua’s long term health. Another concussion puts him at 3 officially and countless other scares. Think of the person not just the player.

That’s it….
NFL go ahead and do the right thing
Tua has had entirely way too many concussions
He need to retire for his longevity health concerns
