Tom Brady couldn’t hide his disgust with the Dallas Cowboys: ‘Oh my God’

Tom Brady is just three weeks into his Fox broadcasting career, but he’s already comfortable enough on TV to unleash his disgust with the Dallas Cowboys.

Brady and Kevin Burkhardt were calling their third straight Cowboys game to start the season Sunday afternoon as Dallas welcomed the Baltimore Ravens to Jerry World. And with the Cowboys trailing Baltimore 28-6 late in the third quarter, the quarterback who once led his team back from a 28-3 Super Bowl deficit noted the need for Dallas to find some rhythm on offense.

“One drive, one touchdown, play with a little rhythm, find CeeDee…” Brady said. And just as he was attempting to give Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense a bit of a pep talk, they suffered an inexcusable self-inflicted wound with a false start.

“Another penalty, oh my God,” Brady said with disgust.

“Well, if you’re frustrated, I’m guessing they’re frustrated,” Burkhardt said regarding Brady’s response to the Dallas false start.

While Brady’s first three weeks in the booth for Fox have been met with more criticisms than praise, his “oh my God” is the exact type of reaction and analysis fans want to hear. An all-time great player offering an unfiltered reaction to self-inflicted wounds and incompetence on the field.

As he worked to transition to the broadcast booth earlier this year, Brady said he was concerned he might be “too critical” of players and teams because he’s used to demanding and expecting greatness. Hopefully Brady saw the reaction to his “oh my God,” and realized the people want more unfiltered criticism, not less.
