Howie Long might be one of the best-looking 66-year-olds on TV, barely aging since joining Fox in 1994, and Terry Bradshaw may have just leaked his secret.
The NFL is back and so is Fox NFL Sunday, with Bradshaw and Long returning for their 33rd season on the studio show. Bradshaw began the show Sunday afternoon by telling the audience how great it is to be back, specifically thanking Howie Long for being a recent source of inspiration.

“First of all, I love everybody up here, especially Howie,” Bradshaw called out. “I want to thank Howie because I thought, here in Hollywood, I need to go back and capture some youth.”
Immediately, Long interjected to question, “Where’s this going?” knowing there was going to be a punchline on the other side of Bradshaw offering some unexpected gratitude.
“I’m 78 now,” Bradshaw continued. “I need to get some hair plugs. Howie gave me the name of his doctor, and I can’t thank you enough, Howie. Plugs!”
Terry Bradshaw showing up to Fox NFL Sunday with hair plugs would be a wild sight to see. And it probably wouldn’t make the 78-year-old former quarterback look quite as young as Howie. Because if he does really have hair plugs, that’s probably not the only explanation behind his fountain of youth.
Several years ago, former NFL player and current Green Light host Chris Long revealed his father’s anti-aging secret to the New York Post, claiming it was “clean living.”
“He really lives clean. He’s not a drinker. He’s not a smoker,” Chris Long told the Post about his father in 2022. “He’ll have a glass of wine. If he has two glasses of wine, I’ll be like, ‘Are you alright, man? You getting a little tipsy?’ The only time I ever saw him drink liquor was my wedding, when he had a shot with me — and he did not look like he does that with regularity.”
So, is it clean living? Is it hair plugs? Maybe it’s a combination of both. But if Howie Long has gotten work done, he found the right people to do it. Because he doesn’t look like a 66-year-old who’s had a ton of work done. He looks like a 66-year-old who hasn’t aged much past 46.
