Is the tight end position becoming one of the most glamorous in all of football? It sure seems that way, at least based on the kind of talent its offseason pow-wow in Nashville is drawing.
Tight End University — which was started by San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle in 2021 as a gathering of his fellow NFL position-mates to study film, participate in drills, and discuss off-the-field recovery — has become a bit of a who’s who of NFL stars in recent years. That has never been more apparent than Wednesday night, when Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s megastar girlfriend Taylor Swift decided to take the stage at the “Tight Ends and Friends” benefit concert.

Swift performed her hit “Shake it Off” alongside headliner Kane Brown. It was the first live performance Swift had given since purchasing the rights back to her own masters last month.
Unsurprisingly, the NFL was quick to highlight the surprise performance, taking to Instagram to share the moment on the league’s official account.

As crazy as it is to say, perhaps no one in the history of the NFL has done more for the tight end position than Taylor Swift.
