When the Dallas Cowboys lose, you’ll hear from everybody. You’ll especially hear from show host Skip Bayless who always has something to say about his favorite team.
After the 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Bayless took to social media.
“I just had to watch the fourth-straight Dallas Cowboy home game in which they were blown out by halftime,” Bayless said in a video shared on X, formerly Twitter. “Annihilated, humiliated, and I have been devastated having to watch the team I grew up loving play like this.”
The Cowboys have allowed 167 points across those games and they didn’t do much to make it difficult for the Lions without a defense to show for it. Not a single touchdown was scored, either.
“Embarrass us all like that,” Baylees continued. “And I ask you, ‘How in the name of Thomas Wade Landry does Mike McCarthy still have a job?’ I asked that question after last year’s home playoff in which we were the two seed playing the seventh seed [Green Bay] Packers, the youngest team in the league, and the Packers had us down 27-0 before halftime.”

“Jerry [Jones] how do you not fire McCarthy? It’s because he’s your best friend and maybe your only friend.”
It was also owner Jones’ 82nd birthday in which the camera made sure to find him many times up in his suite. Bayless sent him wishes before signing off.
“Happy birthday, Jerry, 82,” he said. “And I’m dying over here.”
The Cowboys are now 3-3.
