While Ross Tucker’s NFL career included stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins, it’s another NFC East team that the former offensive lineman-turned-broadcaster has found a home with.

Taking to X on Wednesday, Tucker revealed that he’ll remain with the Philadelphia Eagles’ preseason broadcast team ahead of the defending Super Bowl champions’ 2025 campaign. In other words, while it may not be pending free agents Josh Sweat, Zack Baun or Mekhi Becton, at least one member of the Eagles’ “roster” has re-upped for 2025.

“BREAKING: In a move many are calling the key to a bid to repeat as Super Bowl champs the @Eagles have re-signed their free agent preseason TV analyst to a long term deal,” Tucker wrote. “Source: Me.”

A rising star in the NFL sports media space, Tucker has been calling Eagles preseason games alongside Scott Graham on COZI-TV and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, as well as several local affiliates for the last six years. During the regular season, the Princeton alum calls nationally televised college football and NFL games for CBS and on the radio for Westwood One, in addition to his duties hosting The Ross Tucker Football Podcast for DraftKings.

Suffice it to say, Tucker has a full plate. And while it would have been understandable for him to focus more on his national roles, Eagles fans can take solace in knowing they’ll have the Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, native back in the booth for at least one more preseason slate.
