There are a lot of reasons to watch NFL games at homes these days. First of all, the at-home viewing experience has never been better. Then there’s the exorbitant prices of tickets and what it costs to actually take a family to a game. But maybe more important, there’s a decent chance that you can get in a fight at an NFL stadium.
Massive brawls in NFL stadiums seems like a weekly occurrence with videos flooding social media from seemingly every venue around the league. You’d never expect to see one on an official NFL social media video, yet that’s exactly what happened after the Atlanta Falcons beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football.
The Falcons won a thrilling game in overtime as Kirk Cousins found KhaDarel Hodge for the game-winning walkoff touchdown in a 36-30 victory. Hodge got to celebrate with a selfie-style from the video directly after the game in a video the NFL posted to their X account.
Incredibly, in the background of the video, you can visibly see fans getting into a fight in the front row of the stands right behind him.

The NFL may be trying everything they can to get violence out of the game on the field, but they seem to have a hard time doing it in the stands. This video comes a week after multiple fights from the Falcons-Saints game went viral in Atlanta.
Most fights seem to happen in the 200 or 300 level of stadiums, but this one was right there in the front row! And it may be hard to tell, but with the NFL Films style quality of the video you may even be able to hear the punches in the background for that extra effect.
So here’s a PSA to all NFL fans – just stay at home and enjoy your YouTube TV multiview, favorite comfy chair, and not getting your lights punched out.
