Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has been the breakout star of the NFL season thus far after being the #2 pick in the NFL Draft back in April. Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams has come on strong after a couple shaky early outings to match him. With both teams sitting at 4-2 on the season after six games, the NFL is flexing the first of what could be many important matchups between the two of them to a national window in two weeks time.
Although the game is not being flexed for Sunday Night Football, which will remain a 49ers-Cowboys tilt in spite of Dallas getting embarrassed by the Detroit Lions this past Sunday, it will be the featured game at 4:25 p.m. ET. on October 27th on CBS with Jim Nantz and Tony Romo on the call.

Elsewhere, the Eagles-Bengals game that was previously scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. now moves to the early afternoon window at 1 p.m. ET where it will be the featured game on regional coverage for CBS in Week 8.
The flex featuring Williams and Daniels was highly anticipated. Although it would have been nice to see it move all the way into primetime, the Cowboys being so terrible will probably lead to just as much ratings as them being good because so many people will tune in to hate watch.
However, on the whole the 4:25 p.m. ET window gets just as many viewers so most of the nation will get to see the matchup of sensational rookies. Hopefully both Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels put on a show and it’s the first of many we will get to see in the years to come.
