On Thursday, Kay Adams addressed speculation circulating since the start of the 2024-25 NFL season that she may have a secret relationship with New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones.
The rumors initially sparked during training camp when Jones joined Adams on the Up & Adams Show. During the interview, Adams appeared to be quite interested in Jones’ new look beard, asking numerous questions about it and claiming that it gave him “an edge” on the field.
Speculation only further amplified ahead of Week 1 when Adams interviewed Giants offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, jokingly telling him that he had to protect “her boy.”
“You gotta protect your boy, my boy; the world internet thinks, my boy,” said Adams. I don’t even wanna talk about it… Jermaine, a girl, can’t win. I’m trying to hype up your boy. Is he keeping that beard?… I believe in you, go protect my boyfriend.”

At the very least, Adams was playing into the rumors.
But during an appearance on The 25/10 Show, hosted by LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson, she finally ended the speculation by confirming that he is not dating Jones.
“I said to Jermaine Eluemunor, I said, ‘Protect my boyfriend,’ jokingly,” said Adams. “Because the internet, I think, had a lot of fun with Daniel — who I think is wonderful, and I wish him all the best — about he and I having some relationship…I’m not dating Daniel Jones. Breaking, breaking news. I’ve met him all of two times. Wish him the best; I’m pretty sure he has a girlfriend.”
McCoy got a good laugh out of Adams clearing the air, joking that she “liked the winning quarterbacks,” which Jones has not been thus far this season and largely throughout his career.
It seemed fairly obvious that Adams was playing into the rumors that fans had started throughout this whole process.
But if there was any doubt, that can officially be put to rest now.
