The Los Angeles Rams may not have loved their trip to Melbourne, Australia, but nobody seemed to be having more fun than Michael Irvin.
Netflix was the exclusive broadcast home for the NFL’s first-ever game in Australia this week, and Irvin was featured in its shoulder programming. And while many NFL players, media, and fans have questioned the decision to send two teams all the way to Australia for a regular-season game, nobody seemed more excited than Irvin.
While standing next to Nick Foles and Clay Matthews in kangaroo suits during the postgame show, Irvin appeared to be having the time of his life.

Irvin was living in the moment as he flipped the kangaroo hat on and off, looked around the stadium, and just soaked it all in. But those smiles were so authentic. Irvin looks like a kid on Christmas morning, experiencing the pure joy, excitement, and magic of wearing a kangaroo costume.
Netflix attempted to infuse Australian culture into its NFL broadcast Thursday night with proper pronunciations of “Melbourne,” meat pies, and kangaroo jackets. Nick Bosa was less impressed with the kangaroo jacket when Irvin donned one on him after the game. Even Roger Goodell briefly dressed as a kangaroo for the historic broadcast from Australia, but nobody loved it more than Irvin. If you ever need a pick-me-up, think of the smiles Irvin enjoyed while dressed as a kangaroo.
