As Thursday Night Football prepares to kickoff its 2025 campaign, Prime Video’s studio team is in for a bit of a shakeup.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport revealed on Thursday evening that he will be part of Prime Video’s studio team all season long, presumably serving in a reporter/insider role. At the same time, Sports Illustrated senior writer Albert Breer, who served in an insider capacity for Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football last season, has taken that title out of his social media bios.

The rest of the Thursday Night Football studio crew has stayed in tact. Charissa Thompson will host the show alongside analysts Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Richard Sherman, and Andrew Whitworth.
Rapoport, of course, adds to his television repertoire that includes frequent appearances on NFL Network and his own daily show The Insiders.
In terms of reach and engagement, Rapoport has the larger profile than Breer, boasting nearly five million followers on X alone compared to 667,000 for Breer. If Prime Video simply wanted to hire a bigger name, Rapoport fits the bill. Him and Adam Schefter are in a league of their own when it comes to NFL insiders.
