While it might not be as deceptive as the Chad Powers character, Eli Manning put together another entertaining undercover effort this week to prank PGA Tour golf stars at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The two-time NFL MVP and current ESPN Manningcast co-host leaned into the theme of the tournament sponsor and played a FedEx courier, as well as a volunteer on the course at TPC Southwind in Memphis,TN.
“I’m here at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, and I’m going undercover as a FedEx courier today to play some pranks on some of my favorite golfers,” Manning explained. “It should be a lot of fun. Let’s go deliver some packages.”

“I have a package for a Mr. Fowler here,” Manning told Rickie Fowler while in a FedEx courier uniform. “I hope it’s a driver after those last few I saw you hit. Can you sign for that, maybe?”
Manning asked Justin Thomas to sign a flag: “Could you make it out to Del? Del-ivery man. That’s my name.”
As a tournament volunteer, Manning had Jordan Spieth fooled. Manning asked Spieth, “You’re a golfer or a caddie?”
“Golfer,” Spieth responded, before realizing who he was talking to moments later. “I didn’t see you at first. This was pretty good.”
The highlight of the undercover performance came when Manning pranked avid Boston sports fan Keegan Bradley.
“I’m a FedEx courier at my real job,” Manning said. “Always deliver. Especially against the Patriots.”
And with that line, Bradley realized he was talking to Eli Manning.
“I didn’t know that was you,” Bradley said. “I’m like, ‘Who is this freak over here?’ Oh my god.”
