On-field postgame interviews are generally hit-or-miss, but CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson knows how to get a good soundbite.
And after a 41-10 drubbing that the Baltimore Ravens put on the Denver Broncos Sunday afternoon, Wolfson caught up with Ravens running back Derrick Henry and two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry may have to duke it out for MVP, according to @tracywolfson.

“What is it about this Baltimore, this team, that allows you to have such success,” Wolfson prompted Henry, who ran for over 100 yards on the day.
“Well I think it’s everybody involved, but it starts with him,” said Henry motioning over towards Jackson. “He opens it up for everybody, the type of player he is. Man he’s so dynamic he makes everybody’s job easier.”
“You know, I know it’s early,” Wolfson prefaced as she left Henry and Jackson with a parting question, “but you two are going to have to duke it out for the MVP later this season. How are you gonna handle that?”
“No that’s his. That’s his,” Henry said, again pointing over at Jackson. “He deserves it. He deserves it all man. MVP. MV3 is what we call it. MV3.”
The clever nickname, of course, refers to the two previous MVP awards that Jackson has won in his career. If the type of performance the duo put up on Sunday continues, both may have a real argument for MVP as Wolfson suggested. But as we well know, NFL MVP is a quarterback award, making it an uphill battle for Henry. The last non-QB to win a MVP award was Adrian Peterson in 2012.
It seems like Henry doesn’t really care though, and would be happy to crown Jackson “MV3” come award season. The title certainly has a ring to it.
