The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions for the second time in franchise history. Philadelphia stunningly blew out the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, to win Super Bowl LIX on Sunday night in New Orleans.

It was particularly a remarkable performance by the Eagles’ defense vs three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. In the second quarter, Philadelphia rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean intercepted a pass from Mahomes and returned it for a pick-six.

Here’s how the DeJean pick-six looked and sounded on the Fox television broadcast, with Kevin Burkhardt and Tom Brady on the call:

Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner had the Super Bowl LIX national radio call for Westwood One, and here’s their call of the DeJean pick-six:

Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith connected for a 46-yard touchdown that felt like the dagger in the third quarter, as Burkhardt suggested right before Hurts threw the ball:

On the Westwood One radio call, Harlan said that the Hurts-to-Smith touchdown might make the Eagles’ lead “INSURMOUNTABLE!… WOW!”

As the Eagles ran the clock out to win the championship, Burkhardt said, “For the second time, the Vince Lombardi Trophy is headed to Philadelphia! Eagles fly in Super Bowl 59!”

How about the Philadelphia radio call?

Merrill Reese and Mike Quick had the Eagles Radio Network call for 94.1 WIP-FM:

Reese: “It’s over! The Philadelphia Eagles have won Super Bowl 59! They have beaten the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22! It’s their second Super Bowl win in seven years! What a game! What a season! What a team! The greatest Eagles team in modern history! Eagles fans, SAVOR IT! AND REJOICE!”
