The internet sees everything, which is unfortunate for Aaron Rodgers.

During the New York Jets’ 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Rodgers was caught on camera apparently picking his nose. It was an insult to injury given his inability to turn the team around after they fired head coach Robert Saleh and traded for Davante Adams.

Rodgers made his usual appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday and adamantly denied that what we’d seen with our own eyes was true.

“In the moment, I was thinking, ‘Man I hope the camera’s not on me right now,'” Rodgers said, admitting that he was “digging for gold.”

“As far as the boogs go, I’ve actually never eaten my boogers,” Rodgers explained, “That’s one thing I’m very proud of.”

Meanwhile, one of McAfee’s cohorts said that the quarterback was “missing out,” by not doing that, which is certainly an opinion.

“It’s a tough look to try and defend because that video, it’s a little incriminating,” he said. “I can tell you that there needs to be a side view that shows that there wasn’t a boog that actually went in the mouth.”

McAfee remained skeptical of what Rodgers had to say (for once).

Rodgers had multiple nose-related issues during the game. At one point he was seen inhaling smelling salts out of a bottle.

Booger-eater or not, Rodgers appeared to handle the situation like a pro and have fun with the whole thing.
