The nation’s top basketball recruit made his college choice on Monday night, but not without ESPN dragging out the announcement and annoying many viewers.
After multiple teases and about a 30-minute wait, Marvin Bagley III announced on Monday night’s 11 PM ET SportsCenter that he’s joining the Duke Blue Devils for the 2017-2018 college basketball season.
ESPN will have time to write, produce and film Marvin Bagley's '30 for 30' by the time he announces.

Hello ESPN. Don't hype a Marvin Bagley announcement, then be late.

Finally, the actual decision!
Bagley, a member of the 2018 high school class, chose to reclassify up to the class of 2017 and picked Duke over UCLA and USC. And by joining this year’s class, the 6’11” point forward out of Sierra Canyon High School (Chatsworth, CA) is now eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft, where he could be the top overall pick.
Marvin Bagley III is arguably the best prospect to come out of high school basketball since Anthony Davis in 2011.

The already-loaded Blue Devils could be absolutely ridiculous with the addition of Bagley.
Early prediction on Duke's starting five: Trevon Duval, Grayson Allen, Gary Trent Jr., Marvin Bagley III, Wendell Carter.

Vegas has even moved Duke up to 3-to-1 odds to win the national title.
