ESPN’s Selection Show always seems to produce at least one interesting moment and last night it came with John Calipari having some fun with Jay Bilas.
The ESPN studio crew was interviewing the University of Kentucky head coach, who was clearly having a good time and feeling pretty relaxed. Calipari joked with Jay Bilas about being a Duke homer and stuck his finger in his mouth to gag not once but twice! At least I hope that’s what he was trying to represent…

It’s funny because in all seriousness Bilas is about as far away from being a “homer” as anybody who works as an analyst in college sports. Clearly Coach Cal was in a playful mood after receiving the #2 seed in the South region and being stacked up with North Carolina and UCLA. I can only imagine what Calipari would have said to Dick Vitale last night.
