Late in the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s Alabama-LSU game, Myles Brennan replaced Danny Etling as the Tigers’ quarterback. It was a surprising quarterback change with just over four minutes to go in a 24-10 game, and CBS color commentator Gary Danielson suggested that Etling may have been taken out due to a big hit he took on the previous LSU series.
Or, that’s at least what Danielson was trying to suggest. But it sure sounds like Danielson actually said that Etling “took a big shit” on the last series.
