It’s rare to see a live television program go off without a glitch. WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event had a pretty notable at the start of Saturday night’s show.
Joe Tessitore’s opening where he told viewers what they were going to see was overdubbed in Spanish. Complicating matters more is that both Tessitore’s English commentary and the Spanish dubbing were audible.

That lasted for a few minutes, including through the entirety of Tessitore’s on-camera open with co-host Jesse “The Body” Ventura.
Eventually, while Michael Cole and Pat McAfee were talking ahead of the opening match between Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley, the problem seemed to be solved.

The issue was not with any specific NBC affiliates as people in different markets throughout the country seemed to have the same problem. It also didn’t seem to be an issue for anyone watching on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
Great start to @WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC – feed here in SoCal has both English and Spanish audio simultaneously.

I’m in Minneapolis, and the #SaturdayNightsMainEvent broadcast has both the Spanish and English audio feeds layered over each other. #WWE pic.twitter.com/HjHEOaCdML

PSA:
If you’re trying to watch Saturday Night’s Main Event and your audio is coming through in Spanish on NBC, it’s not just you.
Peacock has the English feed, but the NBC feed is in Spanish for whatever reason.
