If you noticed some weird and glitchy moments during the Sunday Night Football game, don’t be alarmed.
The problem was on NBC’s end, not with your TV, cable provider, WiFi, etc.
On one occasion in the first half, the NBC feed got garbled. It inconveniently happened just as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes launched a long pass into the end zone (it fell incomplete).

A few minutes later, as analyst Cris Collinsworth used his telestrator to show the Atlanta Falcons pass rush, the screen went dark, except for the bright yellow line Collinsworth marked on the screen.
“OK,” a surprised Collinsworth responded.

It’s the Falcons accidentally making a good play that went against the script.

Every time this occurs KC ends up with possession.
