The Under Armour Curry 2 Low “Chef” shoes have been the top meme on Twitter over the last few days and it’s been pretty damn hilarious.
Heck, Steph Curry was even asked about the shoes — and called them “fire” — during the Game 5 postgame press conference.
Well, Jimmy Kimmel Live went all-in on the topic Friday night after Game 5 on ABC. Here’s video:
In text form, here’s Jimmy Kimmel talking about the shoes:
“It is a great pair of shoes to own whether you are a Steph Curry fan or just a middle school lunch lady. I see those shoes doing very well with fans in Ft. Lauderdale. These shoes are so white they just endorsed Donald Trump for president.”
And the transcript of the awesome (fake) commercial for the shoes, which would’ve only been better if Jon Hamm gave the pitch in Don Draper form:
“Style. Quality. Performance.
Introducing the new Curry 2 Low. The perfect shoe for cleaning the gutter. Mowing the lawn. Walking around the neighborhood at a moderate speed. And throwing your back out.
Curry Two Low: For the dad on the go.”
It didn’t stop there. Bill Simmons was a guest on the show, and yep, he was wearing the shoes:
