The Golden State Warriors went up 3-0 in their second-round series against the Utah Jazz, with a 102-91 victory on Saturday night in Salt Lake City. With just over a minute left in the game, Golden State superstar Kevin Durant was issued a flagrant-1 foul for shoving Jazz big man Rudy Gobert.
In the postgame press conference, a reporter asked Durant about the incident with Gobert, and used the word “kerfuffle” to describe it. Steph Curry was seated next to Durant, and was amazed by the word. This is great:

Reporter: Kevin, what happened on that Gobert kerfuffle at the end?
Curry: That is a word right there!
Durant: What’d you say?
Curry: Kerfluffle.
Reporter: Kerfuffle.
Durant: Great job, bro.
Curry: That is strong!
Steph’s head popping up as he’s completely stunned by the word is fantastic.
You may have also noticed in the video that Durant said, “That’s why they call our league soft is because they call flagrants on stuff like that.” And that quote will certainly get a lot of talk in the coming days.
The Warriors will go for the sweep on Monday night in Utah.
