In Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the Indiana Pacers once again called on Pat McAfee to fire up the Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd. Once again, he did just that.
Unlike Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks, McAfee didn’t call out any celebrity fans of the Oklahoma City Thunder in attendance. So, we don’t imagine that John Mellencamp will have a problem with what McAfee said, though we can’t be too certain.
But while McAfee didn’t call out any individual Oklahoma City fans, he did have a message for them as a whole. Specifically, McAfee took issue with the notion that Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center is the NBA’s loudest building.
Pat McAfee got Gainbridge Fieldhouse going again before the fourth quarter of Game 3.

“It’s been 9,126 days since the last time that this wonderful state has hosted the NBA Finals,” McAfee said. “I call it perfect timing. Because everybody’s talking about, ‘The OKC fans are the loudest. The OKC fans have the best fans in the league.’ What the world is about to witness is the loudest building in the history of ball. Let’s turn this sh*t up. Let’s go.”
