It’s a new era for the Milwaukee Bucks, on and off the court.

The NBA franchise announced Friday it will return to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in 31 years, with games airing locally on MY24 and statewide affiliates in partnership with Rincon Broadcasting Group.

It’s a homecoming of sorts, as MY24 was previously the Bucks’ OTA broadcast home from 1988 to 1994.

Viewers in the Milwaukee area will be able to find the channel on most major cable systems and YouTube TV during the 2026-27 season, with statewide affiliate network and streaming options to be announced at a later date. Bucks pregame, in-game, and postgame coverage will also be available locally.

“This season marks an exciting return to our roots as we bring Bucks basketball back to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in more than three decades,” said Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Josh Glessing. “We’re grateful to our partners at Rincon Broadcasting Group for helping us make Bucks games more accessible to our fans throughout Wisconsin.”

The change comes after the team’s former TV partner, Main Street Sports, which oversaw the FanDuel Sports Wisconsin network, shuttered operations.

“We’re excited to bring the Bucks back to MY24,” said Rincon Broadcasting Group CEO Kern Dant. “This is more than a television partnership. It’s the return of a Milwaukee tradition. Welcome home, Bucks fans.”

The news comes on the heels of the Bucks trading away superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo after 13 seasons and an NBA Championship in 2021. This past season, Milwaukee missed the playoffs for the first time since 2016. A rebuild is now underway, coinciding with this return to their former TV home, which begins on Sunday, July 12, with a 2026 NBA Summer League game against the San Antonio Spurs.
