Luka Doncic must have been very pleased with the Dallas Mavericks’ Game 2 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference semifinals. But not as pleased as whoever it was that interrupted his postgame press conference.
As Doncic sat down at the podium after leading Dallas to a huge road win and tying the series, suddenly a very loud moaning noise came from the gallery of assembled media. As you could imagine, that audio stopped everyone in their tracks. The look on Luka’s face as he realized what was going on was absolutely priceless.

No reporter or source of the audio has been identified for the loud moaning noises… and maybe it’s best if everyone keeps it that way. Apparently someone in the room just couldn’t wait to get back to their hotel room to get on with the rest of their evening’s entertainment. Regardless, it certainly made for one of the most unique and wildest moments we’ve ever seen at a postgame presser.
A longer video from the front row shows Doncic making a joke to ease the tension, both of the awkward and sexual kind, before resuming the press conference with the assembled media, presumably to talk about the basketball game and not the obvious sex noises being blasted loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.
Definitely the weirdest start to a press conference I’ve ever experienced 😂 pic.twitter.com/xTDIljvoNL

And here we thought Rick Carlisle complaining about the officiating was the only moaning we would hear at an NBA press conference this week…
