Though the Golden State Warriors are up 3-1 in the NBA Finals, ESPN jumped the gun on Monday.
While listening to ESPN Radio on demand, fans were given an advertisement from the ESPN Fan Shop that showed gear for the 2016 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.

Besides showing up on the ESPN Radio PodCenter, someone else caught the ad on FiveThirtyEight.

Though ESPN hasn’t addressed the premature ad, it’s likely the ad was meant to be published if/when Golden State closes out the series. However, gaffes like this one just help fuel the fire of those who say the NBA is rigged. We’ll see after Monday’s game whether ESPN knew something we didn’t.
