Coby White’s first two season in the NBA have been full of the ups and downs that frequently come with young players, but the combo guard has been playing much better over the last month for the Chicago Bulls. At halftime on Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors, White was tied with a game-high of 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting (to go with five assists and no turnovers).

And two of the points came in stunning fashion. Not only did White throw down a rare dunk (he entered the game with 10 dunks in 3,722 career minutes), but it was a monster poster jam.

As is usually the case on big-time dunks, NBC Sports Chicago Bulls color commentator Stacey King went crazy.

Here’s the dunk, with King and play-by-play man Adam Amin on the call:

King: “OOOH! COBY! COBY DON’T DO ‘EM LIKE THAT! WHO SAID COBY DON’T LIKE TO DUNK?! WOOOOO! THAT WAS NASTY! HE GOT ME OUT OF MY SEAT, ADAM! I WASN’T EXPECTING THAT! WOW!

Amin: “COBY WHITE JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY OUF THE BUILDING!”

King: “STANLEY JOHNSON, WELCOME TO THE POSTER MACHINE! HOW DO YOU DO?!”

Better dunk calls: the Bulls crew or the Charlotte Hornets crew?
