Last year, ESPN had a policy in place about not tipping picks for the NBA Draft, but insider Adrian Wojnarowski found a way around it by using clever phrases ahead of each draft pick. A few examples:
Chicago is zeroing in on Wendell Carter with the seventh overall pick, league sources tell ESPN.

Source: The Lakers are unlikely to resist Mo Wagner with the 25th pick.

Source: The Sixers are enamored with Landry Shamut at the 26th pick.

Ahead of the 2019 NBA Draft, ESPN seemed to accept that there inevitably would be #WojBombs dropped and they might as well embrace the pick-tipping from their ace reporter.
Well, on Thursday night, Wojnarowski indeed went with another sneaky way of tipping picks on Twitter for the draft (televised on ESPN). But this time, he stuck with one phrase for the picks: “focused on.”
Another nice workaround for Woj, and he definitely made each of those tweets with a smirk.
