Things got weird on ABC when Jalen Rose started talking about Michelle Beadle’s outfit – June 12

For some reason, Jalen Rose decided to start talking about Michelle Beadle’s outfit during an NBA Finals broadcast. After Beadle handled the situation well, Doris Burke appropriately responded to the misplaced remarks.

Nike trolls hot-take pundits like Stephen A. Smith with “Debate This” ad on Kevin Durant – June 13

Nike took aim at hot-take artists like Stephen A. Smith after Kevin Durant won his first NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in a new ad that featured many of the criticisms lobbed his way.

David Stern on “idiot” Bryant Gumbel: “I have done more for people of color than he has” – June 14th

David Stern is not a fan of Bryant Gumbel, who previously accused him of being a “modern-day plantation overseer.” Stern said he has done more for people of color than Gumbel.

ESPN’s Around The Horn cites fake Woj tweet with “of course it’s legitimate” – June 15

Around the Horn accidentally cited a fake Adrian Wojnarowski tweet regarding LeBron going to L.A. during a broadcast. While the report isn’t itself a stretch, the account wasn’t legit. Host Tony Reali admitted he used the wrong source on the tweet.
