The dreaded iPhone autocorrect gag can lead to many hilarious situations and ESPN’s Pedro Gomez knows this all too well. During the Rangers-Diamondbacks game, a dust storm knocked out power to Chase Field and the surrounding Phoenix area. In Arizona, dust storms are known as haboobs and Gomez tried to relay this in a tweet, but it all came out wrong thanks to autocorrect:

And Gomez quickly realized his mistake:

But by that time, it was too late. The Diamondbacks and others jumped all over it:

The Phoenix Suns got into the act:

The Phoenix Zoo also responded:

Of course it led to this later in the game as the Diamondbacks trailed in the 9th inning:

Gomez owned the tweet and luckily for prosperity, he didn’t delete it:

Gomez may not have ended all of the negativity on Twitter, but it was nice that everyone could get a laugh at least for one night.
