It was a wholesome moment that the World Series brought on Friday night. Despite a long-standing rivalry.
The great Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper, longtime broadcast partners with the San Francisco Giants, reminded us that they’re just as close off the field as they are on it when posing for a photo watching Game 1.
Wholesome moment alert 🧡🖤
For the first time ever, Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper are watching a game together that they aren’t broadcasting! pic.twitter.com/wB78JwLkbA

The original photos came from Kuiper’s son, Cole who showed a text exchange between them. Turns out it’s the first game the San Francisco Giants longtime broadcasters have watched without being in the booth.

I’m not a betting woman, but I would assume they’re rooting for the New York Yankees as opposed to their NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers.
Best friends and former teammates, Kruk and Kuip are a staple in MLB and have been working together since 1990 and have been inseparable from the beginning. That’s apparent.
And they continue to be at the center of some historic calls and beloved in the area and baseball. They don’t show any signs of slowing down either.
Last year, both Krukow and Kuiper said the two will go as long as possible.
“If we can do it, we’ll do it until we can’t,” Kuiper said.
