Postseason baseball is not for the faint of heart. So is the case for Game 3 of the ALDS.

The Cleveland Guardians were down to the final out in the 10th inning when David Fry called game. He smacked a two-run home run to walk it off against the New York Yankees to win 7-5.

You could imagine a sold out Progressive Field reacted accordingly with Brian Anderson on the call.

“David Fry lights up the Cleveland night!”

Fry knew it was gone the moment the ball left the bat.

The radio call from tom Hamilton was just as great:

This was shortly after Jhonkensy Noel homered in the bottom of the ninth to tie it up at five.

Hamilton highlighted Noel’s nickname, Big Christmas, with a Santa Clause call.

And check out the win probability:

The game saved the Guardians season as the Yankees were up 2-0 in the series heading into Thursday’s matchup. We get at least one more game of baseball. What a gift.
