Mark Vientos returned to the New York Mets on Saturday and helped them secure a 4-2 victory at Citi Field on Sunday thanks to a thrilling walk-off home run.

SNY announcers Gary Cohen and Keith Hernandez were among the many Mets faithful excited by the big moment and couldn’t contain it in the booth when the ball left the yard.

Vientos, who was called up from Triple-A Syracuse to replace Starling Marte, who was placed on the bereavement list, entered the game in the ninth inning and hit a single in his return. Then, in the 11th, he fell behind 0-2 on the count before striking a two-run walk-off homer that prevented a St. Louis Cardinals sweep.

SNY posted a video of Cohen and Hernandez making the call it makes for a pretty fun moment.

“Fly ball, centerfield, back goes Siani, to the warning track, back at the WAALLL…IT’S OUTTA HERE!” exclaimed Cohen while rising to his feet and pumping his fist. Meanwhile, Hernandez raises his hands in victory. “MARK VIENTOS WINS THE GAME FOR NEW YORK WITH A TWO-RUN HOMER!

“Mark Vientos, back in the big leagues with a BANG on a two-run homer in the bottom of the 11th!”

You love to see it.
