Less than two weeks from Opening Day, MLB teams are getting their broadcasting ducks in a row for the 2021 season. The Boston Red Sox are the latest team to set their lineup ahead of this season, adding several former players to NESN’s stable of analyst.

Per Chad Finn of the Boston Globe, Ellis Burke, Mo Vaughn, and Kevin Youkilis are all joining NESN, with Burks both calling games and working in the studio and Vaughn and Youkilis each working in the studio. Jonathan Papelbon will also work in the studio for NESN, and him, Vaughn, and Youkilis are all expected to make weekly appearances, per Finn.

The Red Sox game crew remains similar to last year, with Dave O’Brien returning as the team’s primary play by play voice and Jerry Remy, Dennis Eckersley, and Burks joining him as analysts. Remy will work a reported 100ish games, while Eckersley will get 75 or so. Burks’ workload is unknown, though Finn mentioned he’ll “be in the mix” in the booth.

Guerin Austin won’t return after her contract wasn’t renewed in January, and Steve Lyons also won’t be back this season.
