With seven weeks to go until the U.S. general election, The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz is airing a live stream special to promote voter registration and engagement along with special guests and a partnership with the nonpartisan civic engagement organization Headcount.
The four-hour extravaganza, called “Más Voters” in a play on the South Florida-based show’s long-running local event series “Más Miami,” will encourage its audience to register to vote and check their voter registration status. Guests including Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, actor Keegan Michael-Key and journalist Ari Berman will join the show, along with more special guests to be revealed throughout the day.
Throughout the day, the Le Batard Show will monitor a live tracker of who has visited Headcount to check their status or register to vote. Fans who participate will be entered for a chance to win an “ultimate sports vacation” through Headcount.
The event comes as Le Batard, who announced a new partnership with NBC Sports and Peacock last week, has more consistently embraced political coverage as part of his show. Le Batard welcomes guests across the political spectrum each week as he backs up his open desire to “stand for something” as a major voice in an election year.
The “Más Voters” event will focus on civic engagement, aimed at highlighting America’s low voter turnout rates and more. Pew reports that fewer than 40 percent of citizens 18 or older have voted in all of the three most recent elections (2018, 2020 and 2022).
Viewers can watch the “Más Voters” special starting at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday on YouTube, X, the Max app or the DraftKings Network.
