It’s great to be a Denver Nuggets fan right now. Not only are the Nuggets the reigning and defending NBA Champions, but they are continuing their domination over the Los Angeles Lakers. After overcoming a 20 point deficit in the second half, Jamal Murray’s buzzer beater capped off a 101-99 victory in Game 2 of the Nuggets’ first round series with the Lakers to take a 2-0 series lead.

It’s the tenth straight victory for Denver over the always hyped national media darlings. And Nuggets fans aren’t shy about letting Lakers Nation know about it.

After the game, a few… let’s just call them “enthusiastic”… Nuggets fans even took it upon themselves to crash the postgame set from the stands at Ball Arena to chant, “Who’s your daddy” repeatedly. We’re pretty sure there weren’t really any Lakers fans watching Denver local television after the game to taunt with the chant, but those fans probably didn’t care.

You have to admire the set trying to continue the analysis for a few seconds before waving the fans on board and then jokingly yelling for security to intervene. Clearly everybody was in a celebratory mood in Denver. Well, almost everyone. It’s probably best that it wasn’t the Jokic brothers crashing the party as they were seen duking it out with fans in the crowd at Game 2 in spite of the thrilling Nuggets victory. As for the Lakers, maybe those questions about them ducking the Nuggets weren’t all that crazy after all.
