Fans of the Los Angeles Chargers in their home market will be able to watch Saturday’s playoff game against the Houston Texans on KCBS 2, Los Angeles’ CBS affiliate.

Arash Markazi shared on X (formerly Twitter) that while local Los Angeles stations are devoting their attention to the ongoing Palisades Fire, KCBS will show the game in Houston between the Chargers and Texans. Its coverage of the fires will shift to sister station, KCAL 9.

“With the Palisades fire pushing northeast towards Brentwood and new evacuation orders in place, all local stations in Los Angeles are going back to wall-to-wall news coverage but KCBS 2 will show the Chargers-Texans game as scheduled while their news coverage continues on KCAL 9,” Markazi posted.

The fires, which have sadly claimed the lives of 11 people, have had a significant impact on sports in Los Angeles. NBA and NHL games have been moved or postponed. Additionally, the NFL Playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams — originally scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium on Monday, has been moved to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
