After spending almost two weeks in hospital following a heart issue, NFL Network’s Kimberly Jones is heading home. Jones posted an Instagram video Wednesday where she expressed her appreciation for the medical staff at Inova Fairfax Heart and Vascular, saying “the surgeons saved my life”:
Last Thursday, Jones posted another video from her hospital bed with more details on what happened, saying “A week ago today, I almost died”:
It’s great to hear that Jones is recovering well. She’s a well-known personality from her NFL Network work and her work on New York’s WFAN, and she also previously worked for YES and the (Newark, NJ-based) Star-Ledger. And numerous colleagues and other members of the media have expressed their support for her.
Thanks @InovaHealth’s Fairfax Hospital and Heart & Vascular Institute for saving the life of our friend @KimJonesSports, as she’s says “against big odds.” She’s out of the hospital today. It’s a good day https://t.co/vbCFl129GZ

My friend @KimJonesSports was so kind to me a few years ago when I had a very MINOR medical issue.
I'm sending her the same thoughts right back. Hope she is as ok as this article suggests.https://t.co/EQEEden9VN
