Popular actor Steve Zahn will play one of the lead roles in Chad Powers, the upcoming Hulu comedy series based on the Eli Manning sketch that aired on ESPN+.
Zahn will play the part of Jake Hudson, a college football coach who welcomes Powers, a new quarterback with a shady past (played by Glen Powell).
Manning is the executive producer, joined by Omaha Productions’ Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown and ESPN.
Powell co-created and executive-produced the half-hour comedy show, along with Michael Waldron. Manning, however, inspired the series with his hilarious 2022 sketch. The 15-minute video showed the former New York Giants star quarterback in disguise, going undercover as “Chad Powers” for an audition with the Penn State Nittany Lions.
