Today was my last Clarkson men’s game. Covered them from 1996-2023. Was given a jersey which was very nice. Enjoyed all the years along the way and the people and players I met pic.twitter.com/WNJ6iNSfRQ

Today is last Clarkson women’s game I’ll ever get to see. Covered the program since the day the university had a press conference announcing they were starting a women’s hockey team pic.twitter.com/GfJwmPf5Gz

Sad to hear this last night. Cap was an important part of the ECAC hockey media community. His presence will be missed, and his coverage of Clarkson/St Lawrence hockey programs should be emulated for years to come. RIP Cap and rest easy my friend. https://t.co/WgqX2TaCj6

Sad to learn of the passing of Cap Carey, who covered Clarkson and St. Lawrence hockey for the Watertown Daily Times. We covered many games together. This is me with Cap, left, and Clarkson announcer Bob Ahlfeld in 2022. R.I.P. Cap. @ecachockey pic.twitter.com/CdmJxSzZso
