Since its inception in 2001, HBO’s Hard Knocks has been a tremendous and, to that point, unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look at NFL training camp and preseason.
The series’ popularity grew so much that in 2021 a second team was added every year and focused on in-season as opposed to just during training camp.
Starting July 2, there will be another addition to the Hard Knocks family, as HBO announced Tuesday at the Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation that the New York Giants would be featured on Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants.

The series will air on HBO just like Hard Knocks and will be available to stream on Max. It will follow the Giants from January-July 2024 as the franchise prepares for its 100th season, featuring inside looks at the free agency and NFL Draft processes.
Giants Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy Nilay Shah issued a statement, saying, “As we enter our 100th season, we look forward to providing our fans with the opportunity to see what it takes to build an NFL roster. Beginning the moment the previous season ended, we gave NFL Films unprecedented access to this critical time of the year. We know viewers will gain insight from moments that have never been captured before and are excited for them to learn more about our Giants history.”
The Giants picked LSU Tigers wide receiver Malik Nabers sixth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft but reportedly scouted multiple quarterbacks and tried to find a trade partner to move up, all of which could make for fascinating content if chronicled.
This will mark the first time the Giants have appeared in a Hard Knocks series.
