Sunday’s UFL Championship in St. Louis between the Birmingham Stallions and San Antonio Brahmas brought the new league’s first season to a close, and there were plenty of stars on hand to take in the festivities.
Days removed from his induction into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, legendary quarterback and new Fox Sports analyst Tom Brady dropped by the booth during the game to join Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt and give fans a preview of what to expect when Brady is on the call during NFL games later this year.

“He’s joining us here at Fox Sports as I’m sure you have heard, as an analyst this fall. I can’t wait to see that,” Menefee said.
“In a championship game, sometimes teams can be a little tight and it looks like that may be the case right here,” Menefee continued, subtly prompting Brady to provide analysis.
“They’re all a little different,” Brady responded. “You get into these games and there’s a lot of defense out there right now. The defense goes out and plays with a lot of energy but someone has to get the ball down the field and try to open the field up a little bit. It’s been a lot of horizontal passes and the defenses are swarming and trying to punch the ball out. Make them defend every blade of grass is what we used to say.”
While sitting in on the broadcast and being a featured member are two different things, Brady seemed comfortable. He has reportedly been using AI to try and get a feel for things before he steps into the booth on a full-time basis this fall, starting with the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Cleveland Browns in Week 1.
