Since leaving Fox Sports, the career of Skip Bayless has gone to a very weird and unexpected place.
When Bayless departed Undisputed, he promised that he was not done creating content or being the crown prince of the Embrace Debate movement. At 73 years of age, it was hard to imagine anyone being interested in hitching their future to the Skip Bayless wagon, especially considering Undisputed‘s low ratings with him leading the show after the departure of Shannon Sharpe.
So what was Skip Bayless’ next move? It appears to be a podcast with a new debate partner – his wife Ernestine.
But just a few episodes into this new venture, Bayless was named as a defendant in a lawsuit by a former Fox Sports hairdresser, who claimed that he offered her $1.5 million for sex, that she turned down.
Here’s where things get really bizarre. Even after being named in the lawsuit, Bayless has continued hosting shows with his wife, not commenting on the lawsuit in which he was accused of offering over a million dollars to cheat on her as if nothing ever happened.
And here’s where things get really, really, really bizarre. Skip Bayless even went to X to solicit questions from social media for the next episode of Skip vs Ernestine.

Either this is some galaxy brain move to increase his engagement figures on Elon Musk’s platform, he just doesn’t care about the optics and is plowing ahead, or he is so totally detached from reality that he possibly couldn’t expect how his mentions would go.
Of course, you can imagine where this one went…
It’s gonna be all about the lawsuit BE READY. maybe he will finally be notified.

My question is,
Did you start off with 1.5, or did you have to gradually negotiate to that point ?
Warm regards!

What things would you be willing to spend $1.5m for?

Timmy all the way from San Antonio, TX is asking, “why did you choose $1.5 million as the number?”

What is Ernestine’s opinion on you offering 1.5 million for sex?

Was the $1.5 Million going to be paid in Cash, Check, or Venmo?

You certainly have to feel some sympathy for Skip Bayless’ wife Ernestine for being caught in the middle of this. But if she’s embracing the Embrace Debate lifestyle with her husband, then they must be in this together for the long haul in spite of the explosive Fox Sports lawsuit and allegations against him.
There’s one other strange thing in all of this. Bayless calls his new podcast with his wife the “hottest show on YouTube.” The most recent episode has as of Sunday morning a grand total of 1.9k views.
