The sports media world was shocked earlier this month when a bombshell lawsuit alleged sexual assault against a high ranking Fox Sports executive. And now another lawsuit has been filed where former FS1 host Julie Stewart-Binks is alleging that she was also sexually assaulted by Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon.

At the beginning of January, former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji filed a workplace misconduct lawsuit in California that contained many explosive allegations. Those allegations included that Skip Bayless offered her $1.5 million for sex, current FS1 host Joy Taylor was embroiled in an affair with Dixon, and that Dixon groped her and fired another female staff member for refusing to have sex with him.

The lawsuit from Julie Stewart-Binks that was filed in Los Angeles on Friday centers on Charlie Dixon, who currently serves as Fox Sports Executive Vice President of Content for FS1, having held the role since 2015.

Katie Strang at The Athletic broke the news and also published an interview with Stewart-Binks.

Former Fox Sports anchor and reporter Julie Stewart-Binks filed a lawsuit Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court in which she alleges that Fox Sports executive vice president Charlie Dixon sexually assaulted her in 2016 while she was working at the network.

According to the complaint, Dixon pushed her against a wall, pinned her arms and forcibly kissed Stewart-Binks in January 2016 following a meeting to discuss an upcoming Super Bowl assignment. Stewart-Binks alleges she later reported his conduct to a Fox human resources representative but that the network “egregiously made the deliberate decision to protect Dixon and allow a sexual predator to remain an executive at Fox for nearly a decade.”

Dixon later asked Stewart-Binks to come to his hotel room for a beer and to see the view from his balcony. This set off “alerts” in Stewart-Binks’ mind, according to the complaint, but she felt she could not refuse him because he was her boss.

Once in the room, Dixon asked her to come out on the balcony and “swiftly pushed her against the wall and pinned her arms to her side,” according to the complaint. “With her arms forcefully held down and his body pressed against hers, Dixon tried to force his tongue into her mouth.” Stewart-Binks said her mouth remained shut but that Dixon “ignored her, continuing to press against her body and lick her closed mouth. While keeping one of her arms pinned, he moved his other arm from pressing her upper elbow against the wall to her body and towards her chest.

Stewart-Binks worked at FS1 from 2013-2016. After her contract was not removed, she has worked for multiple networks and media platforms in the years since. These include stints at ESPN, Barstool, and Fubo. She currently hosts a podcast for BetRivers and works at SNY. She also has done improv and stand-up comedy in between sports media jobs.

While at FS1, Julie Stewart-Binks was one of the top rising stars in the sports media industry after her work covering the Women’s World Cup and other appearances on the network. The allegations she makes against Charlie Dixon are disturbing and in line with what was alleged by Noushin Faraji in her lawsuit.

Dixon did not respond to a request for comment from The Athletic. Meanwhile, Fox Sports said the following, “These allegations are from over eight years ago. At the time, we promptly hired a third-party firm to investigate and addressed the matter based on their findings.” To this point, Fox Sports has not taken any tangible action in the wake of what is now two explosive and troubling lawsuits against one of their top executives.
