When Kate Abdo left Fox Soccer last year to join CBS full-time, Fox was left with a void in its soccer coverage.
With Euro 2024 set to get underway in under a month, Fox has hired Jules Breach as host.
“I was absolutely buzzing when the call came from Fox Sports because it’s a network I’ve always watched when I’ve been in the United States and having grown up in the Caribbean,” Breach said in a statement.
“It’s an honor to work on any tournament, in any way, so to be the lead host for the EUROS is something I’m very proud of and I’m excited to be talking football with fans across America.”
This will mark the first time Fox airs the Euros, which had previously been on ESPN since 2012.
Breach currently works for the United Kingdom’s TNT Sports and also hosts Channel 4’s coverage of England National Team matches. She covered the 2018 and 2019 World Cups and Euro 2020 for Australia’s Optum Sport and has worked with CBS Sports’ soccer coverage.
Breach won’t be the only new face on the Fox studio show panel, as legendary defender Giorgio Chiellini will also be appearing in-studio throughout the network’s Euro 2024 coverage.
The release also notes that Fox will announce “new and returning broadcasters” for their Euro 2024 coverage in the weeks leading up to the event’s June 14th start.
