During Saturday night’s Seahawks-Cowboys playoff game, Fox ran a promo for The Passage, a new series premiering on Jan. 14.
The series stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Joe Buck gave Gosselaar a very odd pronunciation. Buck clearly wasn’t a Saved by the Bell fanatic.
A disgusting act by Joe Buck attempting to pronounce Mark-Paul Gosselaar's name.

Dammit Joe Buck. You really just pronounced in Mark Paul Gas-ee-lar. You don't disrespect Zack Morris like that.

Please tell me you guys heard the way Joe Buck pronounced Mark-Paul Gosselaar's last name 😳
— Lisa Bee (@TheeElleBee) January 6, 2019
Please have Joe Buck pronounce Mark Paul Gosselar’s name every five minutes.
— Junior Tweeter (@CoreyGriffinNBC) January 6, 2019
And as a quick Twitter search shows, this has been a thing from Buck in the past. Like on Dec. 9, 2018:
Somebody please make a video of the all the times Joe Buck has butchered Mark Paul Gosselaar’s name during ad reads.
— Dan Lopez (@greater_dan_) December 9, 2018
And Oct. 27, 2018:
ummm how did Joe Buck just pronounce Mark-Paul Gosselaar's name?!?
— ScooterBrowne (@LaichItIs) October 28, 2018
And during the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.
Anyone else irrationally pissed at how Joe Buck pronounces Mark Paul Gosselaar's name? #AllStarGame

Joe Buck keeps pronouncing "Mark-Paul Gosselaar" with the tentative tone of somebody who seems not to have even heard of Saved By The Bell.
