The Villanova Wildcats beat the Providence Friars 76-66 in overtime of a thrilling Big East Tournament title game on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden.
The Villanova players were very pumped up about their victory that surely locks up a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and guard Jalen Brunson — the likely Naismith College Player of the Year winner — let several f-bombs fly after the game ended.
That was bad news for Fox and their hot mic, but it’s a little surprising that they stayed on Brunson so long with the f-bombs pretty clear on the broadcast.
“That’s what we fucking do! That’s what we fucking do! That’s what we fucking do! Fuck yeah baby!”
Does this matter to most viewers? Probably not. Does it matter to the FCC? Probably.
